Here, students will be able to explore the Baptistery of Saint John, which was dubbed the Gates of Paradise by Michelangelo, and the unbelievable Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore which is the third largest Christian church in the world and also the symbol of the city as it dominates Florence’s skyline.

Your group will arrive in the beautiful city of Florence to check-in to your hotel. Depending on flight times your group can take part in a guided tour of Florence, your group will be taken around some of the most popular sites in Florence such as The Duomo, Baptistery of St John, and Palazzo Medici (we can arrange the tour to suit your preference). After taking in the sites, your group can sit down together for an evening meal before returning back to your hotel.

This morning, after breakfast, your group will visit the Piazzale Michelangelo where you can enjoy magnificent panoramic views over the city. Just a 5 minute walk away is the Basilica of San Minato al Monte, your group can take in the Romanesque interior of the impressive church and visit the monumental cemetery. Time for lunch, enjoy a group lunch with beautiful views of the city. Now time to visit the Uffizi Gallery, one of the oldest and most famous art museums of the Western world. Your group can now enjoy an evening meal before heading back to your hotel.

Today, after breakfast, you will make your way to the great open-air museum, Boboli Gardens. Here you can view a collection of sculptures and fountains dating from the 16th century to the 18th century. Free time for lunch, why not enjoy a picnic in the Boboli Gardens? Next, your group will visit the Palatine Gallery and Silver Museum in the Pitti Palace. Here you will be able to view paintings, furnishings, and household treasures dating back to the 16th century. Your group will enjoy an evening meal and then head back to the hotel.

After your breakfast, you will be checking out. Depending on your return flight time, your group could enjoy a trip to the Leaning Tower of Pisa!
