Geneva

CERN is the largest particle physics laboratory in the world and home of the Large Hadron Collider. A wonder of human engineering, this science facility continues to push the boundaries of modern science and our understanding of the world around us. Perhaps its greatest achievement to date was the discovery of the long-theorised Higgs Boson Particle in 2012.

We have organised inspirational school trips to CERN for thousands of UK students from schools across the UK and worldwide. With the recent opening of its brand-new Science Gateway facility, there has never been a better time to visit.
