Why Choose Adaptable Travel?
Why Choose Adaptable Travel?
Choosing a tour operator is a decision you have to justify to someone else, usually your SLT, sometimes parents, often both. Here is what we would put in front of them.
We have been doing this since 1994
Over thirty years of curriculum-linked school trips for UK schools, across the UK, Europe and the USA. That is the whole business rather than one division of it, which means the person planning your trip has almost certainly planned one like it before.
Safety you can put in front of your SLT
TourTrust is our own safety management system, and it is externally verified. Coach operators, accommodation and excursions are audited against it, and we can show you the paperwork behind any of them.
You also get our risk assessment handbook and supplier safety pack. They do a good part of the work on your LEA forms. The rest stays with you, because it has to, but you are not starting from a blank page.
Your money is protected
We are an ABTA member, number Y1241. Flights and flight-inclusive trips are ATOL protected. Which one applies depends on how your group travels, and we will tell you which on your quotation rather than leaving you to work it out.
The admin gets faster
Organising a trip involves a lot of paper and we cannot make that disappear. What we can do is give you a quotation you can actually read, documents that arrive before you have to chase them, and answers from people who know your trip rather than a queue.
Someone on the end of a phone while you are away
A 24 hour support line runs for the whole time your group is on tour, staffed by a senior member of our team. Most groups never need it. The ones that do tend to remember it.
Trips built round what you teach
Every itinerary starts with your subject, your year group and what you need your students to come back understanding. If something popular does not earn its place on your trip, we will say so and suggest what does.
