Bespoke School Trips to

London

Your science group can go from the Natural History Museum to a working biomedical research laboratory in the same day on a London science school trip.

The Natural History Museum and the Science Museum are the obvious pair, and they cover biology, physics and chemistry between them. The Centre of the Cell is the one most teachers have not heard of. It sits inside the working biomedical research laboratories at Queen Mary University of London, in an orange pod suspended above the labs. Sessions run for secondary groups in term time. The Royal Institution's L'Oréal Young Scientist Centre is a practical lab option.

We will help you shape the rest of it around your group. Groups often add a flight on the London Eye, a West End show and a group meal, and the Planetarium at Greenwich runs 'The Sky at Night' for astronomy groups. London works as a single subject science trip or spreads across the sciences.

Arrival, the museums and the West End

Arrive in London and explore the Natural History and Science Museums.

You will depart in the morning and arrive in London, where you can explore top museums such as the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum.

Take flight on the London Eye.

After the museums, you can take a flight on the London Eye for wide views across the city.

A group evening meal, then a West End show.

You will sit down to a group meal at a restaurant such as Pizza Express, Hard Rock Cafe or Planet Hollywood, with full meal options on request. Afterwards, you can take in a West End theatre show.

Check in to your accommodation.

You will then travel to your hotel to check in.

A second visit and the Planetarium

Breakfast, check out and a second London visit.

After breakfast you will check out and visit another London attraction, such as the Centre of the Cell or the Royal Institution L'Oréal Young Scientist Centre.

The Planetarium and 'The Sky at Night' show.

After a packed lunch you will head to the Planetarium for 'The Sky at Night' show, before making your way back to school.
