iFACTORY EXPERIENCE plant tours at the MINI plant in Oxford

Take your group behind the scenes at the MINI Plant Oxford, where one of Britain’s most iconic cars is manufactured. 

On this guided tour you’ll explore a state-of-the-art production facility and see how thousands of parts come together to create a finished MINI — from the ‘Body-in-White’ stage, where steel sheets become the car’s frame, through to final assembly and validation. 

As you walk with your group through the plant, you’ll gain a fascinating insight into modern manufacturing, robotics and teamwork, and even glimpse future mobility concepts as you learn how people and technology work side-by-side to build up to 800 vehicles per day.

Tours run Monday - Thursday 

• 15 pax per group max (group is transported through plant via minibus with 15 seats so 14 students + 1 teacher per group) 
• Larger groups can be split & can run up to 4 parallel tours simultaneously - however each group must have 1 accompanying teacher
