Take your next school trip to the capital of England.  Boasting stunning architecture, historical landmarks and world class museums, London is a vibrant multi-cultural city steeped in tradition and Royal heritage that is perfect for Design & Technology school trips.

We have put together a selection of visits and excursions based around Design & Technology including a visit to London's Motor Museum which houses such cars as the Batmobile and the Delorean.

Alternatively, visit and experience the work of real designers in the heart of Central London in the creative incubator of the Cockpit for an in-depth look into the real world of design.

Hotel was too far out at Croydon meaning on the Friday morning we spent ages in traffic on the M25 to get from the hotel at 9am sharp to the National History Museum. This meant we could only visit one theatre and not two.

The timings to get from Wolv to London to do the London Eye were also unrealistic so I had to do a live chat to put the booking back 2 hours as we were still travelling down. This was fine but more realistic timings and a closer hotel would be wanted in the future.

Finally, it wasn't great to have to jump on two different coaches on the Thursday night after the Mama Mia show as this meant ringing the new coach drivers and having to jump on two new coaches we didn't recognise outside of a busy theatre at 10:30pm at night with 85 of us to account for. The air conditioning on the top tier of the double-decker bus also didn't work and this wasn't good due to the hot weather we've been having. No toilet roll was also supplied for the travelling on the coach which was also problematic.

Accommodation has rooms adjacent to the smoking area and smoke gets in unfortunately. Limited working showers for the female students and noisy at times.

Other than that all good. !
