Fly to Lisbon

Arrive in Lisbon.

You will depart the UK and fly to Lisbon. On arrival you will transfer to your accommodation to check in and, depending on your arrival time, may have some free time to explore, with the option of visiting the Lisboa Story Centre to get to know the city's history and culture.

Day 2

Historic Lisbon and Belem

A walking tour and Sao Jorge Castle.

After breakfast you will take a guided walking tour of historic Lisbon, exploring the narrow streets of the Alfama district and climbing to Sao Jorge Castle for panoramic views over the city and the River Tagus.

The Belem district.

In the afternoon you will visit the Belem district, home to the Belem Tower and the Jeronimos Monastery, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites, with a chance to try the district's famous custard tarts, before returning for an evening meal.

Day 3

Science and the oceans

The Oceanario and the Pavilion of Knowledge.

After breakfast you will spend the day at the Parque das Nacoes, visiting the Oceanario, one of the largest aquariums in Europe, and the hands-on Pavilion of Knowledge science museum. As an alternative, you could take a day trip to Sintra to explore its palaces and hilltop Moorish castle, before an evening meal.

Day 4

Organise a bespoke school trip to The Midlands to inspire students across a range of subjects, from Shakespeare to Science and Alton Towers,

The journey home

Free time and home.

After breakfast, and depending on your flight time, you may have some free time to explore Lisbon one last time, before your return transfer to the airport and flight back to the UK.
