Pisa and Florence

Fly to Pisa and the Leaning Tower.

You will fly from the UK and transfer to a drop-off point a short walk from the famous Leaning Tower. You will have self-led free time in Pisa to explore the historic centre, including the Leaning Tower and the Piazza dei Miracoli, before continuing by coach to Florence to check in and enjoy a two-course evening meal at a local restaurant.

Day 2

Science and a city walk

The Galileo Museum.

After breakfast you will make your own way to the Galileo Museum for a pre-booked self-guided visit, taking in Galileo's original telescopes and a remarkable collection of historic scientific instruments.

A guided walking tour.

In the afternoon you will join a three-hour guided walking tour taking in the Duomo, the Baptistery's Gates of Paradise, Giotto's Campanile, the Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi courtyard, the Ponte Vecchio over the Arno, and sweeping views from Piazzale Michelangelo, before a two-course evening meal.

Day 3

Renaissance masters

The Uffizi Gallery.

After breakfast you will take a guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery to see one of the world's greatest collections of Renaissance art, with masterpieces by Botticelli, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci.

The Accademia Gallery.

After lunch you will visit the Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo's iconic statue of David, before a two-course evening meal.

Day 4

The journey home

Mercato Centrale and home.

After breakfast and check out, and depending on your flight, you may have free time for last-minute sightseeing and shopping at the Mercato Centrale, before your coach transfer to Pisa airport and return flight to the UK.
