Budapest Art

Prices from: £235 (Based on 4 Days, 3 Nights)

Heralded as the ‘brightest jewel on the River Danube’ it’s hard not to fall in love with Budapest’s captivating blend of modern Western culture, quaint old-world charm and cosmopolitan influence. All of these characteristics and quirks make Budapest the perfect destination to inject some creative colour into the Art curriculum and engage in some hands-on learning.

The beating heart of Budapest’s artistic centre is Heroes Square, home to the incredible Palace of Arts which boasts numerous art museums filled with contemporary arts and opportunities for your students to dive into inspiration. Standing opposite is the equally impressive Museum of Fine Art whose 100,000-piece collection sees inspiration and creativity bursting from its very walls, perfect for any budding creatives amongst your group.
As a school trip destination Budapest remains understated and despite its abundance of inspirational visits and educational opportunities it offers a leisurely and enjoyable school trip experience.  Amongst the world-class art museums including the Museum of Contemporary art, Budapest offers much more in terms of inspiration with creativity and unique design embedded in every element of this city. Not only will your students be inspired by the movements, styles and periods on offer at the museums and galleries but experience unexpected inspiration taking in the beautiful architecture and unique natural spas in Budapest.
Whether on a visit to the iconic Parliament Building, the relaxing, picturesque thermal baths or simply discovering inspiration in the historic heart of the Castle District, any memories made in Budapest will stay with your students for years to come.

Accommodation let this tour down, the tour guide was brilliant and the visits good value for money - I just wouldn't recommend this hotel to other guests.

Yet another successful trip, everything ran smoothly, the destination is fantastic and locals more friendly than expected. There is lots to see and do in Budapest, certainly an ideal destination for a tourism student group, not only due to the attractions & its heritage but the ease of travelling around the city on public transport or just to walk around. The staff at the accommodation were so welcoming and extremely helpful, providing lots of useful visitor information and guidance to the group.
