Berlin is a city of contrasts, making it great choice for cross-curriculum school trips.
Below is a suggested study trip itinerary for art groups. However, Adaptable Travel will be happy to tailor your study trip accordingly.
Day 1
Your group will head towards the airport to board your outgoing flight to Berlin, upon arrival in Berlin you will then transfer to your chosen accommodation and check in.
Once you have checked in and settled into your home away from home you will have some free time to explore Berlin before an evening meal at the accommodation or a local restaurant.
Day 2
Breakfast will be served in your accommodation before a jam-packed day of exploring. Your group will have their first visit at the Brohan Museum, before breaking for some lunch in the afternoon. After lunch you will travel by coach to Berlin TV Tower and take a ride to the very top of the tower for a fantastic view of the city and all that’s left to explore!
Your evening will be free for your own activities, or we can help you plan some great group activities in the area, simply let us know. You will then enjoy an evening meal as a group.
Day 3
Breakfast will be served at the hotel as usual before a visit to the KW Institute for Contemporary Art. After a great morning exploring some fantastic pieces your group will have worked up an appetite for some lunch, cue just that! As well as a little time to relax.
After a small break your group will transfer to the Reichstag Parliament Building for a tour of the German Parliament Building Dome.
Next stop, a guided tour of Berlin! This includes a look at the infamous Berlin wall and how this has transformed into a public canvas of expression.
In the evening, prior to your group meal you may have some free time. If you wish to organise additional leisure activities, please let us know.
Day 4
After breakfast it’s time to check out of the hotel. Depending on your travel times you may have some free time for a final explore and a chance to pick up a souvenir or two for those back home!
Your group will transfer to Berlin Airport to board your return flight to the UK and travel back to your school or drop off point.
