East Side Gallery

Show all photos
Explore the East Side Gallery, a 1.3-kilometre section of the former Berlin Wall transformed into one of the world’s largest open-air galleries. Students can walk alongside the surviving Wall and discover iconic murals created by artists from around the world following the Wall’s fall in 1989, including the famous Fraternal Kiss and Trabant paintings. The combination of powerful street art and an authentic piece of the former border makes this a memorable way to explore Berlin’s divided past and reunification.
