Arrive in Lisbon.

You will depart the UK and fly to Lisbon. Depending on your arrival time, you may have some free time for your first taste of the city, with the option of visiting the Lisboa Story Centre to learn about its history and culture.

Day 2

Modern art and ceramics

The Centro de Arte Moderna and the Santa Anna factory.

After breakfast you will visit the Centro de Arte Moderna, spending time with famous works by artists including David Hockney and Henry Moore alongside leading Portuguese artists. After lunch you will transfer to the Fabrica Santa Anna, a ceramics and tile factory making pieces since 1741, where students can take inspiration from the morning and create their own work in a workshop led by professionals.

Day 3

Ancient art and the aquarium

The National Museum of Ancient Art and the Oceanario.

After breakfast you will transfer to the National Museum of Ancient Art, which houses painting, sculpture, metalwork, textiles and furniture, much of it linked to Portuguese culture and history. After lunch you will visit the Oceanario aquarium in the Parque das Nacoes.

Day 4

The journey home

Free time and home.

After breakfast you may have some free time to explore Lisbon one last time, depending on your return flight, before flying back to the UK.
