Suggested Itinerary

At Adaptable Travel, we create the perfect tailored itinerary based on the requirements of each group. Below there is an example of one of our most popular itineraries that are used by groups travelling to Lisbon:

01

Depart the UK and take off for Lisbon by air, let that school trip feeling commence! Depending on the time of your arrival you may have some time to spend experiencing your first taste of Lisbon. If you're in luck here why not visit the Lisboa Story Centre where you can learn about the history and culture of the city you're in!

02

After breakfast, your group will start the day by paying a visit to the Centro de Arte Moderna where students can spend some time getting to know some of the most famous pieces in the museum's collections by artists such as David Hockney and Henry Moore as well as Portuguese artists. Once your group has enjoyed lunch you will then transfer to the Fabrica Santa Anna, a ceramic and tiles factory that has been making ceramics since 1741. During this tour, your students can use some of their inspiration from the previous visit to fuel their own work in a workshop led by professionals.

03

Once you have finished breakfast your group will transfer to the National Museum of Ancient Art, a museum which houses a range of materials from painting and sculpture to metalwork, textiles and even furniture. Many of the artworks in this museum relate to Portuguese culture and history allowing your students to understand the country and its culture. After a spot of lunch, your group will then transfer to the Oceanario Aquarium in Parque das Nações which has been ranked the "best aquarium in the world" by trip advisor for 3 years!

04

Your group will enjoy breakfast in the hotel and may have some free time to explore Lisbon one last time, depending on the time of your return flight home. Embark on your return flight to the UK and transfer back to your institute.
