Let Adaptable Travel tailor-make your perfect school trip to New York. Below is a suggested itinerary for a 6-day Art & Design school trip to New York.

Your group will depart from your institution and fly to New York. Upon arriving in New York, you will transfer to your hotel and check-in. Depending on your arrival time your group may have some free time to explore some of Manhattan’s iconic sights for the first time. Adaptable Travel can arrange a variety of evening meals and activities for your group to enjoy, simply enquire with our team.

After a much-needed rest and a good hearty breakfast, your group will visit the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) where your students can take in one of the most iconic collections in the world. After breaking for some lynch your group will head over to New York’s iconic Broadway, for an inspirational and interactive workshop! After this fantastic workshop, your group will head to the Empire State Building or the Rockerfeller Center where you can marvel at incredible views over the city and watch the night draw in. You will finish off this jam-packed day with an evening meal as a group.

Breakfast will be served in your accommodation before your group embarks on a visit to the Parsons New School for Design. After this, your group will enjoy a spot of al fresco lunch in Central Park, where your students can explore this vast green space in the heart of the concrete jungle. In the evening you will enjoy a group meal shortly followed by a New York must-do, a Broadway Performance!

Following breakfast, your group will take the ferry to visit Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, an icon of the city, and an excellent photo opportunity to capture some school trip memories! In the afternoon your group will break for a spot of lunch before heading to the Museum of Arts and Design for some afternoon inspiration. In the evening, enjoy a meal together as a group.

Your group will enjoy one final breakfast before checking out of your hotel. Once you have checked out your group will transfer to your final visit at the moving 9/11 Memorial and Museum. Depending on your flight time you may have some free time to explore before you return to the airport and fly back to the UK.

Bright and early your group will arrive back in the UK with plenty of fantastic memories and stories to share with everyone waiting for you.
