The International Centre of Photography
The International Center of Photography is the World’s most important institution for the focus of photography and visual medias. Founded in the late 1970’s the mission of the ICP is to represent, promote and preserve photography with strong social and political influence and to ensure this medium continues to educate and shape the world through moments it captures. The centre exhibits in order to unite creatives across all disciplines to interpret emotive photographic works and influence creative mediums with the same core values as the works on display. The ICP hosts exhibitions, public programs, classes and community projects in order to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to appreciate, understand and preserve the importance of new media such as photography and video to our social, cultural and political understanding of the world.
