On arrival to London you will visit the popular National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery. Here your students will have the opportunity to study Fine Art to further their knowledge for contextual studies. You will then enjoy a group evening meal at Pizza Express before heading off to visit the London Eye. Later that evening you will be transferred to your hotel to check-in.
Today, after breakfast, you will visit Tate Modern where your students will be able to develop their understanding of international modern art from the 1900s to the present day. You will then be transferred via boat to Tate Britain, famous for housing the national collection of British art.
After enjoying lunch, you will take part in one of the popular Camden Street Art Tours. You will explore various pieces of graffiti and urban art along with brief descriptions of the artists behind the murals. We can also arrange a workshop session should your students wish to document their understanding through creating their own street art.
In the evening you will enjoy a group meal before heading to the West End to watch a fantastic performance. We can arrange for your group to see popular shows from the Lion King to the Woman in Black.
Today is your last day, after breakfast you will visit the SAATCHI Gallery. This contemporary art museum offers a chance for students to develop an awareness of the purposes, intentions and functions of art.
