Primary School Trips and Educational Tours to London

London is the perfect location for inspiring your Primary school group and opening their eyes to one of the largest cities in the UK. As the Capital of England, many students will be familiar with iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the London Eye, sure to be excited by the opportunity to witness these for themselves.

London offers so much more to students than tourist hot spots and landmark locations, the city boasts world-class museums, important historical landmarks and a beautifully vibrant multi-cultural atmosphere. On top of this, many of the city’s fantastic museums host fantastic school specific visits, tailored to Key Stage one and two curriculums.

Whether you are looking to organise a subject-specific trip or explore everything with a cross-curriculum visit London offers it all, from British and Global histories to Science, Art and Theatre. Home to the Royal Family and their historic family tree, a rich history from Vikings to WWI and WWII and museums bursting with science, maths and even pre-historic giants your students will be wow-ed from start to finish!

London offers a plethora of engaging and inspiring visits from the Natural History Museum and V&A to the show-stopping West End and a thrilling flight on the London Eye.

Adaptable Travel can tailor-make the perfect itinerary based on the requirements of your Primary pupils. Below is an example of one of our most popular itineraries groups choose on our Primary school trips to London.

Day 1

Hop on board the coach departing your school and begin the journey!

Once you have arrived in London and have checked into your accommodation pay a visit to one of London’s top attractions such as the Natural History Museum. Alternatively take your group on a thrilling flight on the London Eye, where students can experience magnificent views of the city to be explored below!

After some fantastic visits, your group can enjoy an evening meal at one of our selection of restaurants, such as Byron Burger, Hard Rock Café or Planet Hollywood. Get in touch with us for full meal options.

Day 2

Start the day off right with a good breakfast at your accommodation! After this it’s time to check out of your hotel and make your way to your first visit of the day – Why not try Shakespeare’s Globe, The Science Museum or London’s Olympic Park?

After an inspiring visit your group will be ready to enjoy a packed lunch, inspiration and learning is hungry work! After this, your group will make their way to the Warner Brothers Studio for the magical “Making of Harry Potter” experience!

Once your group has perfected their “swish and flick” you will board the coach and make your way back to school.

If you want to enjoy more time in London extended durations are available.

Please contact Adaptable Travel who will be able to help tailor-make the perfect itinerary for your primary group for your London school trip.
