The Dutch Coast offers a safe and well-positioned base for your primary group, with plenty of activities and visits to see. Take them to the Bulbfields and witness the beautiful palette of colours across the thousands of tulips.

The Space Expo offers an out of this world experience as students experience what it was like to step foot on the moon.The region has many similar exhibitions and towns including Gouda (famous for the cheese), historical Utrecht and Leiden (birthplace of Rembrandt) - makes this an excellent region for primary school trips. Take your group a little further inland and you will see the beautiful little town of Valkenburg. Sitting around the ruins of an ancient castle, Valkenburg has an expansive cave system that has been created over many years.

With Amsterdam situated nearby means that a day would be well enough to explore the capital taking in everything it has to offer from its art galleries to museums, you will be sure to find something that you will enjoy with a primary school trip to the Dutch Coast.

You will depart and travel to Holland, arriving at the Dutch Coast in the afternoon to check into your accommodation, with free time at leisure to explore the local sights.

A day in Amsterdam

The Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank House and a canal cruise.

After breakfast you will visit the beautiful Dutch capital, Amsterdam. We recommend the iconic Rijksmuseum, before taking your group to the Anne Frank House, a museum dedicated to the Jewish wartime diarist Anne Frank. You will enjoy an evening meal in a local restaurant, before a canal cruise to explore the city from a different perspective, then return to your accommodation.

Cheese, clogs and space

The Clara Maria Cheese Farm and Space Expo.

After breakfast you will travel to Noordwijk, visiting the Clara Maria Cheese Farm and Clog Factory en route. In a country well known for its clog and cheese making, this is an ideal way to experience a huge part of Dutch culture. You will continue to Noordwijk to visit the incredible Space Expo, where students experience a simulated rocket launch and discover what it is like for astronauts living and working in space, before an evening meal and a return to your accommodation.

Depart Holland.
