Imperial War Museum London

The Imperial War Museum is a family of five museums across the UK recognising and demonstrating the experiences of conflict throughout history. The museum boasts a selection of permanent and temporary exhibitions displaying the impact of war on lives, cultures and countries. Focusing mainly on the former British Empire, Commonwealth and Britain as we know it today, the exhibitions and museums explore the history and causes of conflict and the impact war has and continues to have on lives across the UK. These exhibits will highlight numerous elements of war to students, including everyday life during and after war, to military technologies and causes of conflict. This experience will help students to digest the realities of war and how the acts of war damage and impact generations, locations and the daily lives of those affected by them.
