China Business & Economics

Prices from: £1,695

Surely there can be no better way to inspire and educate your students about business and economics than a trip to China, where your students can explore one of the world’s most iconic countries and a world leader in business and technology.

China’s Capital, Beijing is a modern metropolis sprawling Northern China, seamlessly combining ancient tradition with modern technology and advancement. As the most populous capital city in the world, Beijing has an extremely diverse business make up, which includes a robust and renowned IT and manufacturing sector as well as healthy financial and tourism industries. China as a country plays a huge role in hi-tech industries and the global manufacturing industry and Beijing is the perfect city to showcase these elements of the country.

Combine this with time in one of the world’s leading financial centres, Shanghai. This bustling hub is home to the Shanghai World Financial Centre, The Lujiazui Financial District and one of the most futuristic and revolutionary skylines in the world.

The 2008 Beijing Olympics has also left a lasting impact on Beijing, and China as a whole. Generating strong economic development and providing a showcase for the city and this amazing country, China has drawn in new business opportunities. On a business studies trip to China, your students can explore the major industries synonymous with the region, visit businesses such as factories and see the tourism industry at work. Groups will also be able to better understand how the recent economic boom mingles with rich, deep rooted Chinese traditions, forming a new interwoven identity for the country.
