Barcelona Food Technology School Trip

Arrival in Barcelona

Fly to Barcelona and Nou Camp.

You will fly from the UK to Barcelona and meet your coach at the airport to transfer to Nou Camp for the Nou Camp experience, before continuing to your accommodation to check in and enjoy an evening meal.

Day 2

Market and kitchen

The Old Town and Boqueria Market.

This morning you will enjoy a guided walking tour of the Old Town, followed by the Boqueria Market to learn about traditional Catalan ingredients, market culture and local food customs. Lunch is included at a local restaurant near the market.

A cooking class at BCN Kitchen.

In the afternoon you will walk to BCN Kitchen at the Boqueria market for a hands-on cooking class led by local chefs, preparing classic dishes such as paella and tapas to enjoy as your evening meal.

Day 3

Architecture and chocolate

The Sagrada Família.

In the morning you will take a guided tour with headsets of the Sagrada Família, Gaudí's world-famous, still-unfinished basilica.

The Chocolate Museum and El Born.

After lunch in the Gothic Quarter you will visit the Museu de la Xocolata in the El Born district to discover the history of chocolate in Europe and view sculptures of famous landmarks. In the evening you will meet your guide for a tapas walking tour.

Day 4

The journey home

Food districts and home.

After breakfast and check out, and depending on flight times, you may have free time for a self-led walk through Barcelona's food districts, such as the gourmet boutiques of Passeig de Gràcia, before transferring to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
