Olive Oil Production Visit – Riudecanyes

Students begin the visit in an olive grove, learning about the characteristics of the local Arbequina olive variety. They then visit the Visitor Centre, located in the former facilities of the Cooperative, where they can see an old oil mill and hydraulic press, alongside an exhibition and audiovisual displays. 

The visit finishes with a tasting of extra virgin olive oil with bread while students learn about the different categories of olive oil.
