Students can find their way around, which builds confidence quickly, and the Mercado de Atarazanas gives them a real reason to speak Spanish, buying their own lunch from stallholders who deal with them like any other customer. The Alcazaba fortress and the Museum of Malaga can both be guided in Spanish, and a tapas walking tour with tastings rounds out the food side. The E3 language trail is a self-guided booklet of tasks that sends your students out around the city in small groups. They read signage, ask questions and complete activities in the target language without a teacher translating for them, which builds confidence quickly. It is included at no extra cost on the trips that feature it, and works alongside the guided visits rather than replacing them.

Every trip is built around your group rather than sold as a fixed package. A typical MFL trip covers return travel, accommodation on a half board basis, transport and transfers, entrance to the visits you choose, and guides where they are needed. The itinerary shown on this page is a suggestion, so visits can be swapped, added or dropped, and structured language lessons can be included if you want them. Travel insurance is available as an optional supplement rather than being built into the price.

The autumn and spring terms work best. September to November and February to April give comfortable walking weather and much quieter city sites, and the market and guided tours are easier to book outside the summer peak. Malaga stays mild through the winter, so a spring term trip is a genuinely good option rather than a compromise. Accommodation choice is also considerably wider outside the summer.
