Rome Art Study Trips

Arrival in Rome

Fly to Rome and an open-top bus tour.

Your group will fly from the UK to Rome and transfer to your hotel to check in, with left-luggage facilities usually available if you arrive early. Depending on flight times you might enjoy your first taste of the city on an open-top bus tour with City Sightseeing Roma, before sitting down to an evening meal.

Day 2

The Vatican and the galleries

The Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museum.

After breakfast you will enjoy a tour of the remarkable Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museum, followed by some free time for lunch in the city.

The national galleries.

In the afternoon you will visit the National Gallery of Ancient Art and the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, before an evening meal in Rome.

Day 3

Sculpture and a city trail

The Capitoline and Borghese.

After breakfast you will visit the Capitoline Museum, then take a stroll up to the Borghese Art Gallery to view sculptures, ancient mosaics, paintings and more, with the chance to grab some lunch and take in the city.

The Emperor's Quest trail.

In the afternoon you will take part in the E3 Trail, The Emperor's Quest, an interactive walking trail exploring some of Rome's most popular sites.

Day 4

The journey home

Free time and home.

After a final breakfast you will check out, with some free time to explore Rome one last time depending on flight times, before travelling back to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
