The greatest and most iconic symbol of Ancient Rome is undeniably the Colosseum, the biggest amphitheatre ever built.

Take your students on a guided exploration of some of Rome’s most iconic archaeological sites. Using individual headphones, students can clearly hear their guide as they tour the Colosseum, learning about gladiatorial combat, Roman engineering, and the daily life of ancient Romans. The tour continues through the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, uncovering the political, religious, and social heart of the Roman Empire.

A visit to the Colosseum is a staple of any visit to Rome and epitomises the Ancient Roman history of the area as well as a chance to recognise one of the most monumental archaeological discoveries on Earth.
