Arrival in Madrid

Fly to Madrid and explore.

You will fly from the UK to Madrid and transfer to your accommodation to check in. Depending on your arrival you can explore central Madrid on foot, taking in Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol and Plaza de Oriente, before a two-course evening meal.

Day 2

The city and the Bernabeu

A guided walking tour.

After breakfast you will enjoy a three-hour guided walking tour, meeting at Plaza Mayor and taking in Puerta del Sol, the Royal Theatre, Almudena Cathedral, Plaza de la Villa, the Mercado de San Miguel and Gran Via.

The Bernabeu and a flamenco evening.

In the afternoon you will take a self-guided visit to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, then enjoy a traditional flamenco show with a two-course evening meal.

Day 3

Palaces, wildlife and tapas

The Royal Palace and Madrid Zoo.

After breakfast you will visit the Royal Palace of Madrid, then spend the afternoon at Madrid Zoo.

An evening of tapas.

You will then enjoy a guided Tapas Walking Tour with tapas tasting for an authentic Spanish experience.

Day 4

The journey home

Free time and home.

After breakfast you will have free time to explore Madrid, with a self-led visit to El Retiro Park if time allows, before your coach transfer to the airport and return flight to the UK.
