Day 2

Markets and trade

The Eastern Market.

After breakfast you will visit the Eastern Market for a tour and a chance to experience the atmosphere.

Georgetown and the Ronald Reagan Building.

After lunch you will explore the Georgetown district to see how Washington grew as a business hub, and visit the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Centre, before a free evening and a group evening meal.

Day 3

Touring the city

An Old Town Trolley Tour.

After breakfast you will take an Old Town Trolley Tour of the city.

The Smithsonian.

After lunch you will visit the Smithsonian complex, home to a huge collection of museums and galleries, before a free evening and a group evening meal.

Day 4

Landmarks and home

The White House and Lincoln Memorial.

After breakfast you will visit some of Washington's famous sights, including the White House and the Lincoln Memorial. After lunch and some free time you will transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

Day 5

The journey home

Arrive back in the UK.

Your overnight return flight will see you and your group arrive back in the UK the following morning, making your own way home from the airport.
