The Eastern Market
The Eastern Market is a public market in the Capitol Hill neighbourhood of Washington D.C; it is located on 7th Street, a few blocks east of the U.S. Capitol. The market was designed by Adolf Cluss and was in continuous operation as a public market from 1873. Within the Easter Market there are a host of holiday seasonal events which are held to attract visitors. The market is also known for its cultural attractions, including Folger Shakespeare Library and theatre.
