Day 2

Faith and the Renaissance

The Jewish Museum and the Ghetto.

After breakfast you will visit the Jewish Museum of Venice in the Ghetto to explore the history of Jews in Venice through artefacts and precious objects.

St Mary of the Friars.

After lunch you will visit St Mary of the Friars, a church holding masterpieces of Venetian Renaissance art including Giovanni Bellini's triptych Madonna and Child with Saints, before an evening meal.

Day 3

St Mark's and the Doge's Palace

St Mark's Square.

After breakfast you will spend time at St Mark's Square and Basilica, the religious and civic heart of Venice.

The Doge's Palace.

After lunch you will visit the Doge's Palace, before a group evening meal at a local restaurant.

Day 4

The journey home

Free time and home.

After breakfast and check out you may have some free time in Venice depending on your flight, before your transfer to the airport and return flight to the UK.
