The highest point in Morocco is Jebel Toubkal which rises to 13,665 feet (4,165 m), while its lowest point is Sebkha Tah which is -180 feet (-55 m) below sea level. Suggested Itinerary
Arrive in Marrakech
Arrival and check in.
You will arrive in Marrakech and transfer to your hotel near the city centre, the Hotel El Andalous and Spa or similar, with dinner provided.
The Haouz plain to the High Atlas
Targa wells and a Berber village.
You will depart across the plain of Haouz, stopping to see Targa wells, which follow the ancient waterways and are a legacy of Berber irrigation. The route then climbs into the High Atlas to the valley of Ourigane, where you take a walk to see a Berber village and meet the villagers, before an overnight gite at Ijoukak on a full-board basis.
The Tizi n Test pass and Ait Ben Haddou
Over the pass to the Kasbah.
You will take the winding route over the Tizi n Test pass and down the southern slopes of the High Atlas to the saffron fields, then carry on to Ouarzazate and the hamada, or rocky desert, around the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. You will spend the night at a hotel nearby, the Auberge Les Roses du Sable or similar, on a full-board basis.

Telouet and the changing landscape.
After a morning visiting the Kasbah and walking in the hamada terrain, you will take the road up to the heights of the High Atlas to visit the Glaoui palace at Telouet, seeing how building styles change from the desert rock of the lowlands to the pise, or mud-brick, of the mountains, before an evening in Marrakech on a full-board basis.
Marrakech and the journey home
Free time and departure.
You will have a chance to explore Marrakech in the morning before your afternoon flight from Marrakech airport, with breakfast and lunch included.
