Step into the very room where William Shakespeare and his classmates studied in the 1570s at Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall in Stratford-upon-Avon. After an immersive Tudor-style lesson that references Elizabethan learning and classroom discipline, pupils can explore the Guildhall—including the medieval council chamber and prison cell—to discover how the town was governed in Shakespeare’s time. The site offers hands-on experiences and role-play moments, making history tangible and memorable.
