Shakespeare's New Place Gardens & Shakespeare's Birthplace

Show all photos
Your group will explore two of Shakespeare’s most significant sites in Stratford-upon-Avon. First, you will visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace, a well-preserved Tudor house on Henley Street, where William Shakespeare was born and raised. Walk through the rooms of his childhood home and view artefacts from the Trust’s world-class collection.
Next, you will move to Shakespeare’s New Place Gardens, located on Chapel Street. This is the site of Shakespeare’s family home for 19 years—even though the original house no longer stands, the gardens re-imagine its footprint through carefully designed landscaping, sculptures and artworks inspired by his life and writings.
