You will depart school and travel to Brussels, with time at leisure to explore the city before transferring to your hotel to check in.

The European institutions

The European Parliament.

This morning you will visit the European Parliament, the largest multi-national parliament in the world and home to the EU headquarters (visits must be requested directly via a local MP).

The European Commission.

After lunch you will take a guided tour of the European Commission, the executive body of the EU, followed by an evening meal at a local restaurant.

The Court of Justice

The European Court of Justice.

You will transfer to nearby Luxembourg to visit the European Court of Justice, spending around an hour exploring its history, jurisdiction and work, before returning to Brussels for time at leisure.

The journey home

The First World War battlefields.

On the way home you will visit First World War battlefield sites such as Hill 60, the In Flanders Fields exhibition or the Menin Gate, before arriving back at school.
