Les Invalides

Originally build as a hospital and retirement home for army veterans, this beautiful building is now home to the French Military Museum and the tomb of Napoleon Bonaparte who played a huge role in French Revolutionary Wars. Due to its strong significance to Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars this museum features superb galleries which feature exhibitions, artefacts and information relating to these two periods in France’s rich history.
