A hands-on learning and exploring opportunity at Trevaskis Farm, a working farm with a guided tour of the polytunnels, farm animals, organic kitchen garden and onsite butcher and farm shop.

Led by experienced farm staff, the tour can be tailored to each group’s age and interests, topics covered range from field to fork/plough to plate, where food comes from, rare breed farm animals and the farms’ role in sustainable production.

Groups can explore more than 70 different crops in the polytunnels and gardens, visit the rare breed farm animals and learn from the educational boards around the farm, discover and explore seasonal produce, harvest fruit/vegetables directly from the farm and plant their own seasonal fruit or vegetable seed to take home.

After the tour, students can enjoy “Pick Your Own” fruit & veg. There is opportunity for hands-on learning and exploring the working farm environment.

This add-on is available as part of package tour with Adaptable Travel. Note, we do not offer daytrips.
