The Twelve Romanic Churches
Each of these twelve churches has changed many times over the course of the past few centuries and more or less destroyed during the Second World War. Their completed reconstruction was celebrated in 1985 as the Year of the Romanic Churches. Guided tours of the Romanic churches are a major attraction for visitors throughout the year.
