Old Lille Gourmet

Gain first-hand experience of local culture, history, and culinary heritage with an English‑speaking guide through the historic streets and squares of Old Lille, discovering the city’s architecture, hidden corners and rich history. 

Along the route, the group will enjoy a tasting of the famous Méert waffle, a traditional delicacy from one of Lille’s oldest pastry shops. The waffles are collected by the guide and eaten outside, so the group does not enter the shop itself. This walking visit combines historical insight with culinary experience, providing a fun and immersive introduction to the heart of Lille.
