Metropol Parasol Seville

Show all photos
Explore Metropol Parasol, a contemporary wooden wonder in Seville’s Plaza de la Encarnación. Designed by architect Jürgen Mayer and completed in 2011, these six undulating parasols, known locally as the city’s “mushrooms”, stand as the world’s largest timber structure.
Beneath the structure lies the Antiquarium, showcasing Roman and Moorish archaeological remains. At street level, a vibrant marketplace revives the square. Above, panoramic walkways, terraces, and a rooftop viewpoint offer elevated views of Seville’s historic skyline.
Tickets include Viewpoint, an immersive room, and the captivating Aurora lighting display.
