Step into the world of German cinema and television at the Deutsche Kinemathek, Berlin’s leading museum dedicated to film, television and moving image culture. Through fascinating exhibitions, original artefacts and interactive displays, students can explore the evolution of filmmaking, media and storytelling, and discover how film and television have shaped society and culture.

The onsite Kinemathek Library also provides an excellent resource for students interested in film history, research and media studies.

Museum opening times: Thursday–Sunday, 10:00–18:00 (closed Monday–Wednesday).

Ideal for Film Studies, Media Studies, German and Creative Arts groups, this inspiring visit combines culture, creativity and behind-the-scenes industry insights in the heart of Berlin.
