Schülerlabor: hands-on physics lab

Your students step into a working research environment and run their own experiments, guided by DESY's science team. Depending on year group, the day covers air pressure and vacuum, or, for sixth form, cosmic particles and how researchers detect and measure them. It's all practical: students build their own understanding from real data, not a lecture.

DESY-Tour: guided facility visit

For sixth form groups short on time, or those who'd rather see the science than run it themselves, the DESY-Tour is a good fit. It's a two-hour visit: a talk on current research, then a guided walk through the facility, led by DESY physicists
