Skogar Museum

Skógar Museum, located in southern Iceland near the renowned Skógafoss waterfall, offers pupils an immersive experience into the nation's cultural and technological heritage. The museum comprises three main sections:

• Folk Museum: Showcasing over 15,000 artifacts, this section provides insights into traditional Icelandic life, including fishing, agriculture, and domestic activities.
• Open Air Museum: Featuring restored historical buildings such as turf houses, a schoolhouse, and a church, pupils can explore authentic structures that depict Icelandic architectural evolution.
• Technical Museum: Highlighting the development of transport, communication, and technology in Iceland from the 19th century onwards.
