Take your students on an inspiring two-day journey through the heart of global innovation — Silicon Valley. This immersive tour combines guided visits, museum experiences, and unique insights into the world’s leading technology companies. 

Whilst you cannot gain access to many of the complexes, your students will gain a thorough understanding of this remarkable region and understand how it was developed and the influence it has played upon the world today and the computer science arena.

Itinerary:

Stanford & Tech Landmarks

  • Stanford University: Student-led or self-guided tour (depending on availability).
  • Computer History Museum: see the extensive exhibits showcasing the evolution of computing. 
  • Intel Museum: Interactive, engaging exhibits on chip design and microprocessor innovation.
  • Googleplex: Drive-by with photo stop opportunities at the iconic Google campus.

Hands-On Innovation & Apple

  • The Tech Interactive & IMAX Show: Explore hands-on STEM exhibits and enjoy a thrilling IMAX experience.
  • Apple Park Visitor Centre: Visit the only public-accessible areas of Apple’s futuristic campus, including AR displays, rooftop terrace, and Apple Store.
  • Drive-bys: eBay, LinkedIn, Adobe, Apple Infinite Loop, and other tech giants (time permitting).
