Connect pupils with literature, cultural heritage and creative expression with a visit to Seamus Heaney HomePlace. An award-winning arts and literary centre dedicated to the life, work and inspiration of Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney.

Your group can explore the permanent interactive exhibition, Seamus Heaney: Man & Boy, which guides you through his early life, creative journey and the landscapes, people and language that shaped his poetry through personal artefacts, photographs and audio experiences. 

Groups can opt for a guided tour of the exhibition only, or enhance their visit with a workshop and tour of the open grounds, a unique opportunity to explore the very landscapes that inspired much of Heaney’s work on the surrounding land.
