Pasty & Cream Workshop
Show all photos

At this Cornish Cookery School the hands-on Pasty and Cream workshop combines cookery, food culture and a taste of the outdoors.

Guided by a private chef and tutor, students will learn how to make their own Cornish pasty from scratch, learning pastry making, rubbing in method, and crimping and knife skills.

Chef demonstrations also cover traditional scone making, before the group enjoys a full cream tea.

While the pasties are baking, the group can follow a clearly marked nature walk trail through the working farm’s woodland.

Students will then tuck into the pasties they have prepared, either on site or to take away.

The session usually runs from 10am to 1pm and provides a unique mix of cookery skills, local culture and outdoor activity.

This course can also be suitable for vegans, vegetarians & gluten free participants.
