A day trip to Newlyn Art Gallery in Cornwall offers school groups a chance to explore contemporary art in a scenic coastal setting. Located in the fishing town of Newlyn, the gallery showcases a range of exhibitions featuring regional, national, and international artists, with a focus on painting and drawing.
Students will explore the current exhibitions, housed in a modern glass pavilion with views of Newlyn Green and the sea. The day concludes with time to relax at the Garden Café or explore the gallery shop for art-inspired mementos.
