Leopold Museum
The Leopold Museum is home to over 6,000 artworks and examples of fantastic art and one of the World’s most impressive and important displays of Austrian art. The collection spans a number of eras and artistic styles but focuses primarily on the second half of the 19th century and the Modernism that followed this era. The museum boasts the World’s most complete collection of works by Austrian painter and protégé to Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele at an outstanding 220 pieces in total. As well as this collection students can expect to discover an array of pieces from every corner of arts historical development from pieces of the Biedermeier period to New Objectivity of the 1920’s and everything in between.
