Experience some of Iceland’s most iconic natural wonders on The Golden Circle tour.

Departing from Reykjavík, this guided coach tour brings you to key sites including the Geysir geothermal area, Gullfoss (Golden Falls) waterfall, Thingvellir National Park, (American and Eurasian tectonic plates fault line) and Friðheimar geothermal greenhouse cultivation centre (entrance fee applies).

At Geysir geothermal area bubbling hot springs and geysers are abundant, here you'll find also Strokkur, the most active geyser in the area, spouting up to 25-30 meters.

Thingvellir National Park, is a remarkable historical and geological site, which is located by Lake Thingvallavatn, the largest lake in Iceland. The beautiful canyon running through the park is actually the meeting point of two of the earth's tectonic plates. And, in this area the oldest form of parliament had met since 930.

At Gullfoss waterfall you will see thousands of tons of icy water crash over two tiers and fall into a deep canyon.

Friðheimar Greenhouse allows students to experience the use of geothermal energy in producing high-quality produce. Gain an insight into the processes of greenhouse horticulture with a short talk and tour. Learn how they grow vegetables in this cold climate by creating warm Mediterranean conditions, all year round, through the long dark winter.

Additional stops can be added to the tour, these are in addition to the cost of the Golden Circle Tour listed above.
