Cologne Christmas Markets

The city of Cologne sparkles at Christmas, with seven unique Christmas markets on off in total. The big four Christmas Markets are at the Cologne Cathedral, on the Alter Markt, on the Neumarkt and on the Rudolfplatz. Attracting 2 million visitors each Christmas, the Cologne Christmas markets literally light up this magnificent city and welcomes visitors to join in the festive cheer. As Christmas approaches, Cologne puts on a show with a range of entertainment and activities put on throughout Cologne, including a Christmas concerts, Nativity scene displays and a huge temporary ice rink on Heumarkt.
