Chairlift to Gedeon’s Corner and Four Lakes View Points
Show all photos

Pupils can hop aboard the Boppard Chairlift ( Sesselbahn ) for a scenic ride from the valley station in Mühltal, gliding high above vineyards, forests, and dramatic slate cliffs as they ascend nearly 240 metres to the panoramic heights of Gedeon’s Corner—all in just 20 minutes.

At the upper station, groups can walk to two scenic landmarks:

  • Gedeon’s Corner: A panoramic terrace with a restaurant and sweeping views along the Rhine bend.
  • Vierseenblick (Four Lakes View): This viewpoint creates an optical illusion of four lakes formed by the river’s loop. A nearby second restaurant and network of walking trails are ideal for further exploration.

*Purchase on site only - regrettably we cannot pre-book or purchase Sesselbahn chairlift tickets.

*Seasonal opening: April - end of October
