Botallack Mines

Another iconic landmark in Cornwall’s historic tin mining industry is the intriguing Botallack mine perfectly framed by Cornwall’s exquisite landscape. Perched on the foot of the cliffs along the Tin Coast are the famous Crowns Engine Houses. A Cornish Mining World Heritage Site this site is also famous as a filming location for UK TV series Poldark.
