The High Line and Chelsea Market are a short walk away, and Madison Square Garden and the Empire State Building are both easily reached on foot or by subway.

We like Chelsea International Hostel for groups who want to be close to the action without paying Midtown prices. The neighbourhood is quieter than Times Square but still an easy subway ride from the big sights, and the shared courtyard gives students somewhere to unwind after a full day of sightseeing.
